It was so many years ago in undergrad at the University of Wisconsin-Madison that I learned of Faith Ringgold and her work. I was studying Art History and easily drawn to her work for it's eclectic, quilted, layered, multicolor, multivalent voices. Having seen a few here and there over the years, it wasn't until this show that I was able to see what seems an ample cross-section. Here is a sampling of the ones I liked best.
