Not quite sure how this work situates within the recent Durant exhibition, Build Therefore Your Own World, it struck me on approach by its position and its sentiment. As my viewing progressed indoors to the exhibition proper, I was less interested visually, though concerned historically. Somehow this outdoor, liminal work held.
