A rare and random encounter with a very nice painting, aside from the top image, the rest show just how much a painting (especially one with such surface nuance) suffers under average lighting, and, more importantly, an average camera (the latest iPhone). Whatever the shortcomings, you still get a sense to its greatness in such a small package.
